    2006:    Named the 2006 Douglas Y. Thomas Visiting Economist Series Keynote Speaker at Bradley University and Caterpillar Inc.  The Visiting Economist Series has featured seminars by economists including Milton Friedman, Robert Barro, Deidre McCloskey, James Buchanan, Douglas North. Title of the speech:  "Oil and Arms: A Disastrous Environment for Economic Growth in the Middle East."

    2004:    Received “Best Paper Award” for “Global Corporate Governance?” at the 16th Annual Meeting of the Association of Global Business, Cancun, Mexico, November 18-22, 2004.
